2016 CINCO DE MAYO Multicultural Festival & Education/Health/Job Fair

MISSION:        
To support DCET literacy programs and Senior High school students with scholarships toward college.
To celebrate diversity and gain a greater awareness of the cultural and historical treasures within our city of Irving while making our Festival enjoyable through education and information as well as music, dance and food. 
 
VISION:           Health - Diversity – Multiculturalism – Cultural Awareness and avoid racism in the city of Irving.

WHEN:             Saturday, May 07th, 2016  - 10:00am - 4:00pm

Opening Ceremonies: From 10:30am to 10:45am
 
HOW: http://www.dcenti.org/#!cinco-de-mayo/c194g This is a FREE event with all day blood pressure screening, glucose, mammogram exams, and cholesterol testing with onsite results & referrals, multicultural entertainment, kid's activities and Raffle items while they last!  - Clowns, music: from ballet Folklorico, to Mariachis, Indian and African Dancers!

Enjoy our ZUMBA MASTER CLASS and our “Little MISS CINCO de MAYO” pageant and special presentation of the famous band HAVANA NRG featuring SALSA music.

WHO:  Join The City of Irving and DCET in celebration of CINCO DE MAYO Multicultural Festival-Health and Educational Fair and take advantage of a great networking with 200 exhibitors and 5,000 people attending.
 
WHAT:  This event promotes education, healthy lifestyles and alternative resources for the family; featuring community non-profits, county/state agencies, and retail vendors along  with our traditional cultural arts/craft/food vendors — all in an alcohol-Free environment. Promote your product/service in one day and have a lot of fun!
